Good morning! 🌞🌈✨

The garden is so vibrant this morning! Morning strolls through this beauty help me to set my energy for the day. What is your morning ritual?

Sunday stroll across the graffiti-filled Bynum Bridge 🌉🐾

This old bridge over the Haw River has become an open-air graffiti canvas, with every inch layered with color, hearts, flowers, and messages from strangers who passed through before us. Add sunlight, big Carolina clouds, cicadas singing, and a big bird circling overhead, and you’ve got a perfect afternoon.

There’s something sacred about a place where anyone can leave their mark and the river just keeps flowing beneath it all. 💛

Pachamama and our resident pollinators have given us a huge gift at Blue Heron Farm🌎! The bees are drunk with squash blossom pollen, and we now have 11 squash babies growing on this Butternut vine that we didn’t even plant 🤷🏻‍♀️. What gift is Pachamama giving you today? 🌈✨🌱

🦋🧡 A reflective moment with a tattered-winged Swallowtail butterfly lingering on Ironweed flowers: There’s something magical about watching a creature drink so fully from what’s right in front of it, torn edges and all. Sometimes the wings that carry us aren’t the ones we started with, and that’s its own kind of resilience. So, remember that even when the journey feels arduous in the moment, we need to be kind to ourselves, pause, and savor the beauty that’s all around us.🦋🧡

You don't see this every day! 🌸 We finally spotted a rare Hummingbird moth in the garden. Look how it hovers! Have you ever seen one of these in person?

🐸🦎 I’ve been noticing all the frogs and anoles in the garden lately, and it feels like quiet feedback from the land.

They only show up where there’s no poison in the soil, plenty of bugs to eat, and a habitat to climb and hide in. Frogs want moisture and shade and anoles want branches and shrubs.

Seeing them everywhere is a nice reminder that the small choices (no chemicals, letting things grow a little wild) add up to real harmony. Nature gives back when you let it be nature. 🌿
