Cabarrus County EMS Cabarrus County EMS is an advanced, progressive, Paramedic EMS system in the Piedmont region of North Carolina.

Cabarrus EMS is a model EMS system which provides advanced paramedic-level care to a population of 187,000 in Cabarrus County. Cabarrus EMS operates on a 12 hour shift model, and also serves the citizens of the county with one Community Paramedic unit. We have received the AHA Gold Lifeline Award for our care in Cardiac Arrest.

We’re looking for volunteers to help bring color, creativity, and fun to Bethel Elementary School’s playground!

⏰ 8:00 AM – Noon
📍 Bethel Elementary School | Midland, NC

We’ll be painting interactive games and activities on the playground to help create a safer, more engaging space for children. No artistic experience is needed—just a willingness to help and a positive attitude!

🌧️🏁 Through the heat, rain, storms, and long hours, our crews remained in place providing medical coverage both on and off the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. 🚑

Large-scale events require tremendous coordination, preparation, and dedication from countless public safety partners. We are proud of our staff who continued serving through challenging weather conditions to help keep race fans, crews, and the community safe.

🚔🏁 We’re honored to have the North Carolina State Highway Patrol at Cabarrus County EMS Headquarters today for their Coca-Cola 600 operational briefing and Colonel inspection. 🏁🚔

The NCSHP, alongside our local law enforcement partners, has been preparing extensively to help ensure a safe race weekend for the hundreds of thousands of fans traveling to our area.

Cabarrus County EMS crews will be providing medical coverage both on and off the track throughout the weekend as we support one of the largest events in our region.

EMS Week gives us the opportunity to pause from the busy pace of the job and spend time together outside of the calls. Today’s employee cookout was filled with laughter, great food, door prizes, and memories we’ll carry with us for years to come.
