Despite the rain our area has received, the lake levels and US drought monitor are improving, but the 6-month average stream flow is still low.

Lincoln County welcomes William Nash, Project and Facilities Director!

Nash brings a 19-year history of local government experience to Lincoln County, including 17 years in management. He has a strong background in public service, utility operations, leadership, and community-focused innovation. He has also completed the UNC School of Government Municipal and County Administration Program.
Before joining Lincoln County, Nash served as Utilities Director for Dare County, where he focused on effective operations, service delivery, and community needs. Throughout his career, he has developed customer service platforms designed to better serve residents and improve their experience with local government. He also holds multiple disaster relief and utility-related certifications.
โ€œConsidering the expanding complexity of project development and growth that faces local government, we are very excited to welcome William to our team. We will rely on his experience and project development skills to support our team moving forward. Lincoln County continues to be an energetic place for our community, and responsible project delivery is one critical area for County improvement,โ€ said County Manager Davin Madden.
"I am excited to be joining the Lincoln County team as I take the next steps in my career as Projects and Facilities Director. I look forward to contributing to meaningful projects, building strong partnerships, and helping create a lasting positive impact for the community we serve,โ€ said William Nash.
Outside of work, Nash enjoys camping and outdoor adventures, including mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and winter sports. Heโ€™s passionate about serving communities, solving problems, and finding better ways to get things done.
