Resource center for young adults 16-24 open M-F, 9a-5p 📍2219 Freedom Drive The mission of The Relatives is to keep kids safe, families together, and prepare youth and young adults to be healthy, productive, and engaged members of the community. The Relatives serves young people who are experiencing crises due to homelessness and family discord, as well as those who have aged out of our public systems and lack the skills and support necessary to function as independent and productive adults.

We're looking for volunteers to help prepare, serve, and share a Thanksgiving dinner filled with warmth and care. Whether you're cooking a favorite dish, serving a meal, or lending a helping hand, your time can make a meaningful difference.

We had an amazing time connecting with students at Phillip O Berry High School today!

Our Peer 2 Peer and Outreach teams were on-site to share more about our mission and the services we offer at The Relatives.

We believe it’s so important for young people to know where they can turn in their community for safety, support, and guidance—not just for themselves, but for one another. Often, before reaching out to an adult, young people confide in a trusted friend.

Our hope is that when a young person recognizes that a friend is struggling or in need of support, they know that The Relatives is here to help. Together, we can make sure every young person knows they are not alone and that support is always within reach. 🫂
