The weather was perfect, the food was great, and the company was fantastic! About 200 people attended the picnic and enjoyed each other at The Rookery, which is part of the Geauga Park District. Children had a number of activities to participate in including face painting, visiting with an adorable mini donkey and watching Banjo the Clown. All were able to meet and greet Rick O'Shay a mini horse that is part of the Geauga Sheriff's office. Every child in attendance participated in child-friendly activities. A beautiful hand crocheted afghan was raffled to raise more funds for our 2012 GCA projects. Thank you everyone that helped and attended!
