Al-Mu'minah "To Strengthen and Enrich the Young Muslim Woman"

Al-Mu'minah is a community organization dedicated to "strengthening and enriching the young Muslim woman." Al-Mu'minah invites all Muslim girls 12 years and up to become a member and a leader. Annual events include:

"Quarterly Ladies Nights" to welcome new sisters to Islam and the valley (Ladies Only)

"Team Muslim Women Race for the Cure" at the annual Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure in Downtown

Phoenix in October

"Muslim Family Bowling Day" on December 25th (Christmas day) for the entire community

"Al-Mu'minah Graduation Reception" to honor Muslim women graduates from high school and college. (Ladies Only)

Al-Mu'minah was established in 1995 by a group of 14 innovative teenage Muslim sisters who decided they wanted to create leadership opportunities for Muslim women. It is the longest running Muslim youth organization in the Valley.
