I am extremely grateful for all the incredible bipartisan support from family, friends, and the people of Champaign County, throughout my tenure as Champaign County Circuit Judge for the last 28 months. I endeavored to deliver my best efforts in serving as judge, and to campaign consistently in promoting judicial independence and impartiality, even in a required partisan election. As my service as the Illinois Supreme Court merit selected appointee ends on December 5, 2022, it has been a distinct honor and privilege to serve the people of Champaign County, especially alongside so many amazing people I work with at the courthouse and within our justice system. I leave office with gratitude and continued hope for the wellbeing and prosperity of all people of Champaign County.

Two days to Election Day and time to vote for Judge Sam Limentato, the only judicially experienced and most qualified person to serve us! Whether it is your doctor, mechanic, electrician, carpenter, etc., isn’t your primary concern whether they are the most qualified to do the job required? The same consideration should go for our circuit judge, who has an oath and commitment to serve with diligence, excellence, and impartiality, while applying the laws in place, without fear or favor, to every person equally based on the evidence. Judge Sam Limentato is the most qualified, evidenced by the unanimous bipartisan Illinois Supreme Court order, his ISBA Judicial Advisory Poll ratings, and the results of his actual service to us already over the last two plus years! There is no stop in our Judge Limentato, including yesterday, in engaging with the people he serves, including answering questions of a group in Mahomet, packing food at the Eastern Illinois Food Bank, and rooting for the Illini! Encourage your friends and neighbors to vote for Judge Sam Limentato!

Judge Sam Limentato was privileged to attend a special presentation honoring veterans, and those who currently serve, at Mahomet Christian Church last night. We were all reminded that our freedoms are defended by the devotion and sacrifice of those who have served, and are serving, in our military. We were also reminded to honor that service by exercising our right to vote. Thank you to all our past and current service members!
