***Update, Located and Safe!***

Missing horse.
Last seen at the Sagebrush trail up the East Fork.
Female Bay Roan 9 years old.
Approximately 15 1/2 hands tall.
Had a saddle with blaze orange saddle bags on her, and a brass breast collar with a heart on it.
White marking on her forehead.

**Update**

At 12:20pm today Air Idaho Rescue located a Polaris UTV matching the description of the vehicle belonging to Kelly King. The vehicle was off of the trail on a hillside amongst sagebrush. Ground crew from Custer County Search and Rescue accessed the vehicle and found a deceased male who was later identified as Kelly King.

We appreciate the dedicated work of Custer County Search and Rescue, Idaho Mountain Search & Rescue Unit, Civil Air Patrol, Idaho National Guard, Idaho Fish and Game (IDFG), Salmon Search & Rescue, Air Idaho Rescue, Air Force Rescue Coordination Center and the numerous members of the public who assisted us in the search.

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Mr. King.

During the ongoing search for Mr. King, we would ask that the public stay out of the purple area because we are using helicopters with thermal imaging capabilities. It is helpful to have the area clear so we do not get mislead with thermal identifiers in the area.

Search teams are out and about in the Morgan Creek/Gooseberry area. Please use caution and avoid the area as we are trying to preserve tracks made by the individual.

At 12:53, Sept 17 Custer County Dispatch recieved notification from Garmin Inreach about an injured hiker near Alpine Lake in Stanley, ID.
SAR Commander initiated the assistance of Idaho National Guard , who lifted the patient to Stanley Ambulance for Medical treatment.
We, as always, appreciate the work of Custer County Search and Rescue, Stanley Ambulance and Idaho National Guard.
