The Veterans Memorial Commission is responsible for the management, development, operation and maintenance of the Veterans Memorial Building, the Memorial Stadium (Kernels), and All Veterans Memorial Park. Swing in to see the magnificent stained glass piece by Grant Wood titled, "Memorial Window." Two military themed galleries/display also open to the public. Horsky Collection of Model Airplanes also on view: take elevator to the 4th floor.

Special guest! Author Barb Feller will give a gallery talk on Friday, 22 MAY 2026. Feller wrote “Memorial Masterpiece" and is an expert on the subject. This is Free/Open to the public and meant to be a casual, :20-minute guided art discussion on the stained-glass piece, "Memorial Window" that was created by famous artist Grant Wood in 1928. Experience one of Grant Wood's unique, large, colorful works of art at the Veterans Memorial Building.
