Lisa Hinton, MS CCC-SLP, is the Director of Business Development and Operations at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, responsible for business development of hospital service lines, as well as overseeing multiple clinics and departments of the hospital. Lisa joined Advent Health Castle Rock in 2015. Prior to that, Lisa worked at HealthSouth Corporation (Encompass Health) for over 15 years.

Lisa is a registered Speech Language Pathologist and has a Bachelor of Communication Disorders from Minot State University, and a Masters of Speech Pathology from the University of Nebraska. She was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. Lisa and her husband live in Castle Rock and will have two high school students.

Our 2nd annual Drive for the Dream Golf Classic at the stunning Bear Dance Golf Course in Larkspur yesterday was a hole-in-one for a great cause!

Golf enthusiasts gathered to whack balls and boost educational opportunities for DCSD students, teachers, and schools. With a full round of golf, thrilling contests, and opportunities to win fantastic prizes, everyone chipped in to make a big difference.

A giant thank you to all who swung by to help us drive change, one hole at a time!

The Foundation for Douglas County Schools is excited to announce our annual Lend A Hand School Supply Drive, aiming to provide over 1,500 backpacks filled with essentials for students. This initiative, celebrating its 16th year, invites community participation to ensure every child is ready for school. Additionally, we proudly awarded fourteen Perseverance Scholarships to students who have demonstrated exceptional resilience. 100% of donations directly support scholarships. The Foundation for Douglas County Schools kicks off its annual Lend A Hand School Supply Drive each summer, aiming to gather, buy, pack, and hand out backpacks stuffed with school essentials to students who need a boost. This drive is now sweet sixteen years old! With over 1,500 backpacks flying out annually, we’re on a mission to make sure every kid is ready to hit the books. Want to be part of the magic?
