Field Day Opportunity in Southwest Missouri!

Join us in Lawrence County, Missouri to learn how biologists are monitoring grassland birds and how you can do the same on your own property!

We’ll visit with a local landowner who has been actively improving grassland habitat and see firsthand the impact of those efforts. You’ll also have the chance to listen and identify grassland birds in the field! It will be an an experience you won’t want to miss.

We had such a great and very informative tree planting workshop!

Ryan, MDC forester, taught us all how to properly prepare seedlings for planting, proper planting depth, different planting techniques, and so much more. We also got the chance to see a tree planting machine in action!
