Congressman Foster has spent his career advocating for working families, quality public education, and accessible healthcare. His support means a lot as I build a campaign focused on attainable housing, strong social services, and public education right here in our community.

On the upcoming weekends below I'll be walking through District 1 neighborhoods: knocking on doors, listening to what's on people's minds, and sharing why I'm running for McHenry County Board.

250 years ago the Declaration of Independence promised all of us the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Independence was never really about going it alone. It was about people showing up for each other, building something amazing together, and making sure everyone had a voice at the table.

That's the spirit I bring to this campaign: attainable housing, a county government that truly serves everyone, and real transparency for District 1.

Get out there and celebrate today, McHenry County! Enjoy the cookouts, watching fireworks alongside your neighbors, and the precious time spent with loved ones.

Humbled to announce the endorsement of Illinois State Senator Mike Simmons.

Senator Simmons has built his whole approach around showing up — for communities that get overlooked, for people who deserve a seat at the table. That's not a talking point, that's just who he is.

That's the neighbor I'm showing up to be for District 1.

Every corner of McHenry county deserves a voice at that table. Senator Simmons believes that, and he trusts that I'll be the one bringing real neighbor concerns and real solutions when I get there.

I'm so honored to have the endorsement of Maria Peterson - Candidate for IL House District 52.
Maria and I have been in the trenches together for the last several years. Moms Demand Action events, community gatherings, showing up for our neighbors whenever and wherever we were needed. She's not endorsing a candidate she read about on a flyer. She knows me, she knows my heart, and she endorsed me as a candidate. That means the world to me.

Today, I honor Juneteenth by celebrating the freedom, resilience, and extraordinary contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation's history.

I know this day is not about my voice or my experience. It's an opportunity to listen, learn, and recognize a chapter of American history that deserves to be remembered and honored.

May we celebrate the strength of those who endured unimaginable injustice, the generations who fought for freedom and equality, and those who continue working toward a future where every person is treated with dignity and respect.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth. May we continue to learn from one another, celebrate one another, and build communities where everyone belongs. ❤️🖤💚
