📚 Book Fair Success! Thank you to everyone who participated in our spring book fair at Barnes & Noble back in April. Because of your love of reading, we were able to gift Ms. Zaccardi nearly $1,200 to purchase new books for the Inquiry Center!

That's a lot of fresh adventures, fascinating facts, future favorite characters, and "just one more chapter" moments heading our students' way.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Join us Friday, June 5 for our final Walk to School of the year!

Meet in the Kildaire Plaza parking lot at 8:30am, and head to school together as one big happy walking crew. Get some fresh air, catch up with friends, and remind our kids that yes, their legs still work before summer break begins. 😄

🎉 Yesterday we surprised our incredible staff who’ve spent months getting students ready for EOGs - calming nerves, reviewing standards, and surviving on sheer determination. 💪

Special love to our 3–5 teachers currently in the testing trenches: may your Wi-Fi stay strong and no one click the wrong button.

To all the other grade levels helping keep hallways quiet and classrooms calm over the next few days… we see you too. You've got this! 🤫

It truly takes the whole school team - and all our proctor and lunch volunteers - to make testing week run smoothly. We appreciate every single one of you! ❤️

Our community garden is out here thriving 🌱

In 2025, we harvested an amazing 138.5 lbs of produce - all donated to NeighborUp to help feed our community through their food bank.

This year also brought a full lineup of spring and fall garden classes, rehabbed garden beds with new fences, and the butterfly garden lovingly maintained by a dedicated volunteer.

Huge thanks to everyone who has donated time, energy, sweat, and occasional emotional support to keep this program growing. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

To keep the garden going through the summer, we’re looking for volunteers to help with watering and harvesting. Bonus perks include fresh air and dirt under your fingernails.
