TRS has been busy making memories!

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted, but that’s only because we’ve been out exploring everything our beautiful region has to offer! Check out what our amazing participants have been up to lately:

Hitting the Slopes: We headed up to Tahoe for an incredible day of skiing and snowboarding lessons. A huge shoutout to Achieve Tahoe for their expert instruction and for helping us conquer the mountain! ❄️⛷️

On the Water: We spent a peaceful day canoeing through the Cosumnes River Preserve. Thank you to Wilderness Inquiry for partnering with us to get everyone out on the water safely. 🛶💧

Nature Neighbors: Most recently, we visited the Effie Yeaw Nature Center for our Nature Neighbors program. From spotting local wildlife to the magic of releasing butterflies, it was a day full of wonder. 🦋🐢

Pathways to Recreation will be hosting their annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser coming up on Saturday, October 4th, 2025! Pathways to Recreation is a non-profit that financially supports TRS by providing participant scholarships for travel and programs, equipment for our Charger's team, as well as many other things that help enhance TRS programs. All funds raised from the dinner continue to support TRS and its participants throughout each year.
