Tonight was my fifth and final Monterey City Council District 2 candidate forum! I was thankful for the opportunity to answer questions and listen to the concerns of those who live at Merrill Gardens Monterey. If your registered to vote in District 2 I’d be honored to receive your vote in this upcoming election. .

As ballots have arrived, I want to answer the question.... I’m running because Ed Smith, who has represented this district, has asked me to continue that work. I’ve lived and served here for many years — on the Monterey County Civil Grand Jury and helping children through the Court Appointed Special Advocate program. I care deeply about this community and believe District 2 needs someone who will protect core services, manage our budget carefully, and always put residents first.”

Happy Birthday (181 years) Fisherman’s Wharf Monterey! We enjoyed the band, Fisherman’s Grotto clam chowder and a delicious piece of birthday cake. Well done to all!

My grandson enjoyed meeting our local hero’s who keep us safe. Yesterday we stopped by the downtown fire station to deliver some banana and blueberry bread to the fireman. I wanted to show my appreciation and say thank for the opportunity to accompany them on the 6 hour ride along. ⛑👷🏻‍♂️
