The MSFP NYC meetings for this week have been canceled due to the ongoing lapse in federal government funding.

10/08/2025

We are postponing the ELDC Strategic Thinking class for Thursday, October 9, due to the government shutdown.

Please note that we are only postponing and will reschedule once the government reopens.

In addition, Sip and Share (scheduled for 10/10) is canceled for this week.

We're disappointed and know that you are, too.

The MSFP is excited about kicking off the Executive Leader Development Course as soon as we can!

Please stay tuned here and check your email as we make updates to our program dates.

The Hiring Our Heroes Amplify event is happening!

This event is NOT canceled.

Almost all civilian employees are furloughed until the government reopens, and that includes Lauren O'Donnell in the MSFP. Not knowing how long the shutdown will last, we are taking each day at a time.

For now, please plan for all MSFP events to stay on track, but know that if the government is still shut down on the day of an event, we will need to need to cancel or reschedule in most cases. I'll update the MSFP events in the Spouse calendar and post an announcement in our MSFP Teams channel if events are canceled. I will also post a notice here.
