📢 Now Hiring: Part-Time Community Partnership Coordinator
Canal Wi******er Human Services | Canal Wi******er, OH

Canal Wi******er Human Services is seeking a Community Partnership Coordinator to help carry out day‑to‑day community outreach, fundraising support, and communications that strengthen awareness and support for our programs. This is a hands‑on, hourly role focused on executing established plans and building strong local connections.

In this role, you’ll:
Coordinate relationships with local businesses, churches, civic groups, and partners
Represent CWHS at community events and outreach activities
Lead fundraising efforts, sponsorships, and donor communications
Lead grant research, applications, tracking, and follow‑up
Manage and execute basic marketing and communications (social media, website updates, event promotion, newsletters)
Capture and share program highlights, stories, and photos
Keep organized records and support event logistics

We’re looking for someone who is:
âś” Organized, dependable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities

âś” Strong in written and verbal communication

âś” Confident working independently within established goals and guidance

âś” Passionate about community engagement and nonprofit work

âś” Fundraising and/or grant writing experience is a huge plus!

đź•’ ~29 hours/week (part-time / hours flexible; occasional evenings/weekends for events)

💲 $15–$18/hour, based on experience

📍 Primarily onsite with community/event attendance

Big things are happening at Canal Wi******er Human Services!

As we continue growing to better serve our community, we’re excited to share several important team updates effective May 1, 2026.

✨ Anna Ross has been promoted to our newly created role of Operations Manager! In this leadership role, Anna will oversee day-to-day operations across our programs, including Food Outreach, Senior Transportation, Community Outreach, and Senior Outreach—helping ensure our services continue to run smoothly, safely, and effectively.

🥫 Alannah Linderman will continue serving as our full-time Pantry Coordinator, leading the daily operations of our Community Food Pantry and helping provide consistent, respectful access to food resources for local individuals and families.

đź“‹ We will also be hiring a new Part-Time Program Coordinator to support our community and senior programs through scheduling, participant support, outreach events, and day-to-day program coordination.

🤝 Plus, we are creating a new Part-Time Community Partnership Coordinator role focused on building stronger relationships with local businesses, churches, donors, and community partners while supporting fundraising, grants, sponsorships, and community engagement.

These updates reflect our commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable organization that can continue meeting the growing needs of our community.

Quench your thirst at McGill Park đź’¦ A new water fountain has been installed between the playground and pickleball courts! The fountain features a drink spout, bottle filling station, and even a water bowl for our four-legged visitors.

Thankful for the 100+ volunteers that signed up for the Rooted in Canal Wi******er’s first annual community clean up day in partnership with the Canal Wi******er Lions Club (who does this at least 3x per year). It was great to see churches, Scouts, 4-H clubs and volunteers working together to keep CW clean! ♻️

⌛ Less than TWO WEEKS remain to submit an application for the 2026 Hometown Hero Banner program!
Canal Wi******er Hometown Heroes will be honored with commemorative two-sided full color banners featuring name, branch of service, and military photo. Banners will be displayed on light poles throughout historic downtown from Memorial Day through Veterans Day. Completed applications and supporting materials must be submitted by close of business on Friday, April 10. Previous applicants must reapply for consideration but do not need to submit additional documents.
