Congress is considering legislation that would expand some veterans' programs by changing disability ratings for tinnitus and obstructive sleep apnea.

According to VA estimates, those changes could affect up to 1.5 million veterans and reduce disability compensation by approximately $57 billion over the next 10 years.

Veterans should not pay for veterans' benefits.

🎓 Congratulations to Emma Miller! 🎓

Our VFW Post is proud to recognize Emma Miller, daughter of member Scott Miller, on being awarded the Lillian Campbell Scholarship through the VFW Auxiliary!

Emma received her scholarship at the Wisconsin VFW and VFW Auxiliary convention, where she was recognized for her hard work, dedication, and commitment to her future educational goals.

A special thank you to our very own, Renee Simpson, Wisconsin VFW State Senior Vice Commander, for sponsoring and supporting the next generation of leaders.

The VFW and VFW Auxiliary are committed to investing in our youth through a variety of scholarship and educational programs. Opportunities like the Lillian Campbell Scholarship help deserving students pursue their dreams and continue their education.

Today, our VFW Day of Service volunteers made a meaningful impact at the Kickapoo Valley Reserve!

A dedicated group of VFW and community volunteers came together to plant 200 milkweed plants, helping create critical habitat for monarch butterflies and supporting the health of this important pollinator species. Afterward, the team continued their efforts by clearing brush and removing invasive garlic mustard along one of the reserve’s trails, helping preserve and protect this beautiful natural resource for future visitors.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and hard work to make this project a success. Service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off, and today was a great example of veterans continuing to serve their communities and the environment.
