Paine Senior Services Established in 1905, serves Cambridge residents age 60+ who want to remain in the community and maintain their independence.

Licensed social workers provide home-based Health and Wellness evaluation, Benefits and Services evaluation and access, housing stabilization, financial stabilization and monthly bill paying , care coordination services to help Cambridge seniors make important decisions about available services, benefits, and options that help them remain in the community and maintain their independence and dignity.

Community Health Worker training starts in September! The goal of the CHW training program is to engage, train and empower people to improve the health of their communities. This free training covers the core competencies outlined by the state and meets the program requirements set by the Massachusetts Board of CHWs. CHA’s training also includes Mental Health First Aid, Motivational Interviewing and more. The course is 8 weeks in-person training, starting September 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. More information and registration: https://buff.ly/GCM4E2P
