Good evening everyone I'm just in from the toy drive what the Montgomery Fire Department. I'm pleased to say we did very will today and plans coming together to do another one before Christmas. I will try and get the word out on here I would love to see some of yell come out.

Now for the big story the severe weather forecast for Monday and overnight Monday. I cant say how concerned I'm getting with this system. Theses fall over night systems have proven to he deadly more than once in our area.

The Storm Prediction Center continues out put line the area in a " enhanced risk" level 3 of 5 risk for severe weather that night 3 days out. Folks I haven't seen them put a forecast out that serious this far in advance in some time. The main risk will be tornadoes and damaging winds.

That's the latest on the severe weather for right now we will update more on it as we get it.

Time change

Remember we fall back tonight!!!
Also remember it's a good time to change those smoke alarm batteries and those weather radio batteries!!!

Have a great night and we will update more tomorrow on the severe weather.

11/03/2018

Good afternoon everyone.

This is one of many severe weather updates for Monday night.

First of all I cant till you how concerned I am at this point in time. The SPC has placed the area in a significant risk for severe weather 3 days out. The area is I'm a "enhanced" risk level 3 of 5 for severe weather. This is very in common especially for this time of year.

This could be a very significant severe weather outbreak. Preparedness is the key as always. Have your severe weather plan of action ready. As will as your disaster preparedness plan ready. It's best to plan for the worst.

Again we will update as we get more information.
