I joined the US Army Reserves at the age of 17 and went on active duty shortly after graduating high school. During this time I attended Central Texas College and Maryland State University along with many other military training, technical, and leadership schools. I am a Desert Storm Veteran and served with the 2nd Armored Calvary Regiment in the Battle of 73 Easting, served a tour of duty with 1
01st Airborne Division and Multinational Force and Observers on the Sinai Peninsula along with a tour of duty with the 4th Infantry Regiment and 56th Field Artillery Command in Germany before, during, and after it's unification. After leaving the military in 1993 I began a career in the transportation industry and became employed by ABF Freight Systems in North Little Rock. Shortly thereafter in 1994 moved to Cabot and currently continue a 29 year career with ABF Freight. I am married to Melissa Little and have 3 children. My two sons are Cabot High School graduates and our daughter currently attends Cabot Middle School South. My family and I attend Austin Station Baptist Church and are active in many military organizations. I am a Past VFW Post, District, and Arkansas State Commander achieving All American status each level and was awarded the highly coveted VFW All American Triple Crown. I currently serve as VFW National Deputy Chief of Staff and VFW Department of Arkansas Chief of Staff. I served a four year term on VFW National Council of Administration (Board of Directors) and have served nine and a half years on VFW Department of Arkansas Council of Administration. In addition, I have severed on many committees and panels and currently serve as a Cabot City Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
