The Village of Alamance is selling the utility shed at 3926 S NC 62 by sealed bid. The following is the advertised announcement. Please read for instructions on placing a bid, if interested:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Alamance will receive sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus personal property:
A 12’x24’ wood-frame utility shed, sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS.
Sealed bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked SEALED BID: UTILITY SHED and delivered to the Town Clerk at Town Hall 2874 Rob Shepard Dr, Burlington NC 27215. Bids will be received until April 13, 2026 at 11 am.
All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at Town Hall Council Chambers on April 13, 2026 at 12 pm.
TERMS OF SALE:
Removal: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all costs, labor, and equipment required to move the shed from its current location at 3926 S NC 62 Burlington NC 27215.
Deadline: Removal must be completed no later than 30 days following the award of the bid.
Liability: The buyer, or buyer’s agent, may be required to provide proof of liability insurance prior to removing the shed from municipal property.
Rejection of Bids: The Administrator reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
INSPECTION:
Interested parties may inspect the shed during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday.
