TxDOT Traffic Alert: Orange County & Jasper County
May 7, 2026

ORANGE COUNTY – The left lane of I‑10 westbound from Simmons Drive to Adams Bayou will be closed on Friday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will be working on the roadway surface. Drivers should expect delays.

JASPER COUNTY – FM 105 northbound and southbound at the BNSF railroad crossing near Evadale High School will be closed on Tuesday, May 12, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Contractors will be working at the crossing during this time, and motorists will need to use an alternate route.

The Buna Fire Department will be sounding our siren Sunday at 12 noon to honor the 97 firefighters that lost their lifes in 2025. Tomorrow is fallen firefighter day.

Road closure updates ! Please share Cr 731 on 4/30/26 7 am till 5 pm. CR 907 on 5/4/26. 7 am till 5 pm. These closures will be due to rail and tie replacement at the railroad crossings.
