105th Military Police Company

105th Military Police Company The 105th MP CO of the New York Army National Guard was fist organized on May 9, 1923 as the 105th Infantry in Schenectady, NY.

On October 15, 1940, the unit was entered into Federal Service and saw extensive action during WWII. The unit was re-designed as the 105th Military Police Co on February 1, 1968 and relocated to Troy, NY. After locating at last to Buffalo, NY on September 1, 1996, the unit was once again called into Federal Service in August 1999 to support Operation Joint Forge in Bosnia. The unit was ordered to

State Active Duty after September 11, 2001 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and served two weeks at the site of the World Trade Center attacks. On February 14, 2003, the unit was entered into Federal Service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and served under the 220th MP Brigade in Iraq.
