All 2025/2026 Real Estate and 2026 Personal Property tax tickets have been mailed and are due by June 30, 2026.

It is the responsibility of the taxpayer to see that the proper tax bill is received and paid on time.

The Buena Vista Outdoor Spaces Committee is proud to announce the launch of the Make a Splash Campaign!

This community initiative has a goal of providing summer pool passes for 100 local children.

Through the support of local businesses, organizations, and community members, the campaign will help connect more children with opportunities to enjoy Buena Vista's community pool this summer.

A special thank you to the Buena Vista Sheriff's Office and the community service workers who assisted with repairs to the pool deck at Glen Maury Park.

Their hard work helped address significant cracking and damage to the flooring. Without theses repairs, the pool deck likely would have been closed for the season. Thanks to their efforts, this community space remains open and safe for families to enjoy.

A sincere thank you to Nate Casperson and his team for their generous donation and outstanding work repairing the double decker floor at Glen Maury Park.

The finished result looks incredible, and their contribution is helping keep one of Buena Vista’s cherished community spaces vibrant and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.

Their generosity and craftsmanship will be enjoyed by countless community members for years to come.

We understand that some residents have recently noticed their water appearing milky or cloudy and may have questions or concerns about what they are seeing.

Our staff has identified the issue and determined that the appearance is being caused by air entering portions of the water distribution system. While the water may look unusual, it is still safe to drink, and the cloudy appearance is the result of tiny air bubbles suspended in the water.

City crews are actively working to locate the source of the problem and implement corrective measures. We know that anything affecting your water service is important, and we appreciate the calls and reports that have helped us monitor the situation.

If you pour a glass of water and let it sit for a minute or two, you will likely notice it clearing from the bottom up as the trapped air dissipates.
We want our residents to know that we take these concerns seriously. Providing safe, dependable drinking water is one of our most important responsibilities, and we will continue working until this issue is resolved. We appreciate your patience and support as we complete these repairs and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
