It is with a heavy heart that we share that our fearless and amazing leader, Bob Curtis, has passed. It is hard to express in words what Bob meant to us all. First and foremost, Bob was the loving and proud patriarch of his amazing family and he loved them beyond measure. He will live on through each of them. He loved and lived in a big way as a husband to his lovely wife Susan , father, grandfather, brother, uncle and more. He was an incredible friend. He was the leader of the tribe he built here at Curtis Homes and we are all honored to carry on his legacy. Bob worked hard but he loved what he did. He really loved his clients and bringing their visions to life. As a leader who led with a quiet strength, he taught us all to move forward with the same vision, quality and personal investment as they are the true touchstones of Curtis Homes. He was an accomplished and respected builder, skilled pilot, master equipment operator, surfer, diver, hunter, rancher, waterskier, skier and more. Bob tirelessly fought for what he believed in. He loved The Hollister Ranch and donated countless hours through his service on the Board of Directors, countless committees, fighting fires, and many rescues on his bulldozer. Man, he loved his bulldozer! Bob always rooted for the underdog, he lived his life with integrity, honesty and fairness. He was the first to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He donated his time to those less fortunate in Mexico in many ways, including flying in much needed doctors and medical supplies to those that needed it and he loved it. He was generous in every way. He was humble and kind. Most importantly, Bob was a faithful man and lived a life anchored in truth. He was deeply rooted in that faith and we know we will one day be reunited. We are all better having known you Bob and we love & miss you.
