Bucks County Council of Republican Women

Bucks County Council of Republican Women Our History The Bucks County Federation of Republican Women was started in 1923 by a group of Bucks County women ready to serve the County Republican Committee.

With a motto of “Commence, continue, co-operate,” this group of civic, social, and political leaders crowded into the auditorium of Mechanics Hall in Doylestown on June 9th to call their first meeting to order. Through the leadership and determination of these original members and those who have followed throughout the decades, the tradition continues. As was aptly stated by one of the founding wo

men, “If we want Good Government, we must have good politics, and each woman must join in with the party in doing her share to make this possible.”
