Bowling Green Township Board of Zoning Appeals will be holding a public hearing on an application for variance on June 24th, 2026 at 7PM at the Bowling Green Township Community Building located at 15508 Main ST Brownsville, OH 43721.

The Application was submitted by Ryan Yzenski at 8782 National RD.

All interested parties are welcome to attend the public meeting

The board of zoning appeals may hold a meeting immediately after the public hearing to discuss and possibly vote on the application.

Bowling Green Township Board of Zoning Appeals will be holding a public hearing on an application for a Conditional Use Permit on June 4th, 2026 at 6:30PM at the Bowling Green Township Community Building located at 15508 National RD Brownsville, OH 43721, as ordered by the court.
The application was submitted by 1221 Alum Creek Drive LLC for Conditional Use Permit for warehouses, proposed to be located at 10018 Mt. Hope Rd, Thornville, OH.
All interested parties are welcome to attend the public meeting to hear proposed plans for use.
The board of zoning appeals will hold a meeting immediately after the public hearing to discuss and possibly vote on the application.

CAN I RECYCLE THIS? NO!🚫

It's starting to get warmer and we know so many of you are itching to start your gardens! So we are here to remind you that flower pots and planters DO NOT GO IN OUR RECYCLING BINS! We only accept plastic in the shape of bottles, jugs, tubs. cups, and clamshells. Some home improvement stores and local garden centers might take pots and planters back for reuse/recycling, so check with the store you go to most. If they do not accept them, please put them in the trash!

The Board of Bowling Green Township Trustees, Licking County, Ohio, is seeking bids for an exclusive contract for the collection, transportation and disposal of residential garbage/refuse and yard waste within the unincorporated areas of Bowling Green Township, Licking County Ohio. If awarded, the contract period shall be from August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2029.

Sealed bids, labeled “Refuse Bid” will be received by the Bowling Green Township Fiscal Officer, Jennie Duval, at 11779 Macks RD Glenford, OH 43739, on or before May 11th, 2026, at 7 p.m. Bids and contract documents must be provided in both paper and electronic medium, readable in standard WORD or XLS format as applicable. Bids received after the above time will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 15490 Main ST. Brownsville OH, at 7:00 p.m. on May 11th, 2026. Bids may be held for a period of up to 60 days after opening.

Bidding and contract documents may be obtained by contacting the Township Fiscal Officer at (740) 403-0711 or [email protected]. It is the requester’s responsibility to request documents in sufficient time to complete and return them by May 11th, 2026, at 7p.m. as indicated above.

The Township Trustees reserve the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids, waive any technical requirements, and to accept any bid that is deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Each bidder must deposit with the bid, securities in the amount and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidder.
