Our annual Shred Day and Electronics Collection is coming up! September 19, 2026 from 9am-12noon at the County Highway Garage (775 East Main Street in Newark).

Please note, we are not accepting TVs at this event - please call us at 740-670-5125 for other disposal/recycling options.

CAN I RECYCLE THIS? YES, FINALLY! ♻✅

Yes it's true, we can finally recycle pizza boxes that have grease on them! Technologies have changed when it comes to cleaning contamination from cardboard and papers, so greasy pizza boxes can now be recycled! 🎉🍕

Leftover food, crumbs, and scraps should be thrown in the trash. Liners, plastic lid holders, and sauce cups should also be thrown in the trash.

p.s. Today is National Cheese Pizza Day - so go get a pizza and recycle that box!

STANDARD PICK UP IS $17.25 PER MONTH AND SENIOR CITIZEN PRICE IS $15.53 PER MONTH. TOTE RENTAL IS $2.20 PER MONTH

Bowling Green Township Board of Zoning Appeals will be holding a public hearing on an application for variance on August 12th at 7PM at the Bowling Green Township meeting room located at 15490 Main ST Brownsville, OH 43721.
The Application was submitted by Tammy Koerner at 11397 Somerset RD Thornville OH 43076. The application is requesting permission to use the barn for agritourism events.
All interested parties are welcome to attend the public meeting.
The board of zoning appeals may hold a meeting immediately after the public hearing to discuss and possibly vote on the application. The board has up to 30 days to make a decision.
