It is with saddened hearts that we announce the tragic passing of one of our DREAMS alumni, Aaron Carpenter.

Detectives in the Bronx have arrested the suspect who allegedly stabbed a Queens man to death on Friday night.

Even though we are in June, May was an eventful month! One of the highlights was Senator Roxanne Persaud’s visit to DREAMS! We were able to meet with Senator Persaud’s staff when we went to advocate for funding towards our family, and they were so inspired by the stories of our young people that they decided to see the DREAMS magic for themselves. We appreciate their service and are grateful for the opportunity to share what we do and what ideas we have to better the community.
