Daughters of Baca(Domestic Abuse Ministry) This ministry focuses on hurting women. It's mission is to renew, restore and rebuild the spirit. I am a survivor of date rape and domestic abuse.

At 18 yrs old I survived an attack by my date after we returned home from our first date. I struggled with him in the back seat of the car until I couldn't fight anymore and he gave up and I was able to get out of the car and run to my dorm. I never reported it. I survived years of domestic abuse at the hands of my husband until I was able to move here to Hattiesburg in 2002 with my four children.

I went through physical beatings where he would put knives and razors to my throat. I was isolated from my family and couldn't have a job, drive the car or have friends. He broke my nose when I was 7 months pregnant with my third child, Marcus.This is a real issue in our community and I desire to bring it to light by bringing awareness to young girls and women and our community.

32-year-old Ashley Lockhart of (PHILADELPHIA ,PENNSYLVANIA) was found inside a gold Honda Odyssey parked on the side of a road in West Philadelphia just before 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning . All Six children of her kids have been left without her after she was stabbed to death in a brutal murder allegedly committed by her boyfriend .She just had a baby 5 months ago.

Ashley suffered multiple stab wounds to her body and one to her face, police said that her and her boyfriend may were fighting before she was fatally stabbed.A weapon was recovered at the scene, but no arrests have been made.

Surveillance footage captured the moment the man believed to be the Ashley’s boyfriend jumped into the vehicle and appeared to assault her before stabbing her 18 times all over her body and face. According to sources the crime was so horrific that when police arrived, the knife was still lodged in the Ashley’s head.
