Many of the city's youth had their first fulltime employment at the Mills which was an example of family history and legacy to community service.

One by one the icons of our past slip away. Time has a way of allowing this to happen. Erosion, weather, mishaps, many are the ways that we lose them. For this reason we must find ways to cling to the vines of memory and find ways to reach out to those connections we have with the past. Let the flames of friendship burn ever brighter as we contemplate the loss of this great landmark that has done so much for Brigham City past and present. The future generations will miss out on the great blessings of the labors within its walls but we can pass on the impact they had on our lives and those of our ancestors.
