Members of the Bridgeport Vol Fire Dept, are deeply saddened by the Passing of Archie. He was the true definition of a volunteer, and he will be missed. Our condolences go out to his son, Glenn.

On behalf of the Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary, and the entire Logan Township community, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate a truly historic moment in our Department’s history.

The parade, the celebration, and the festivities that followed would not have been possible without the incredible support, generosity, and unwavering love this community continues to show us.

To all the departments and apparatus that joined us in the parade — thank you. Your presence made the day even more meaningful.

It was a day to remember, and we’re already looking ahead. Mark your calendars — the planning for our 150th celebration in 2050 has officially begun!
