We’re looking for a volunteer to help tell the story of one of our community’s most meaningful traditions — the Poulsbo Veterans Day Parade, which will be held on Saturday, November 11th. 🇺🇸
The parade continues to grow each year, and we’re hoping to find someone who would enjoy helping manage and grow our Facebook and Instagram presence.

This would include things like:

-Posting parade updates and announcements.
-Sharing photos, videos, and veteran stories.
-Helping promote events and sponsors.
-Engaging with our community online.
-Helping preserve and share the spirit behind the parade.

You do not need to be a veteran to help — just someone who cares about community, service, and honoring those who have served. This is a volunteer role, but it’s an opportunity to make a real impact by helping us connect with veterans, families, supporters, and the wider community throughout the year.

If you have experience with social media, photography, content creation, or simply a passion for supporting veterans and community events, we’d love to hear from you.

Hey Tribe! We want to shine a massive spotlight on Campfire and Offroad Therapy doing incredible work for our community. They are dedicated to empowering Veterans and 1st Responders by taking them out camping and off-roading as a unique form of therapy and fellowship. Their mission is to ensure no veteran is left behind, creating a safe and exciting space for healing, adventure, and camaraderie where our heroes can support one another in the great outdoors.

They are gearing up for an action-packed schedule with at least one event every month this summer, including upcoming gatherings like Greenwater Camping (April 24-26) and Topless at Clean Shores at Long Beach (May 16)! Whether you are looking to hit the trails, volunteer your time, or simply help spread the word, there are plenty of ways to get involved and support this awesome cause.

The trail is not advanced, there is a bit of elevation but nothing crazy. There is availability to borrow selected gear. If you could use the time away to reset with other veterans let me know!
