Hey, I’m a little puzzled. PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE with the RVCC Community.
NJ is telling disabled people that now is not the time to find work. There are folks out there who would rather take some extra help and go do some work than just take welfare payments. The state actually doesn’t have a schedule for re-opening their agencies for in-person meetings, and it’s difficult staying in touch with the staff that is working remotely.
Their message: WAIT UNTIL THIS COVID-19 THING IS OVER
But guess what? They open an online job portal for the public, that’s very kind.
“Did you lose your job or have your hours reduced as a result of COVID-19? Businesses across New Jersey need thousands of workers for immediate hire. Learn more about who is hiring in your community.”
