Another successful Hunters Education Class was held at Grace Adventures. We would like to thank all of our participants for their enthusiastic involvement. Successful programs like this would not be possible without our top notch volunteers and instructors.

Would also like to thank Hansen Foods, Peterson Farms, and Whitetails Unlimited. Plus a special thank you to Grace Adventures for providing a terrific venue for this years class.

Registration for Hunter Education for spring of 2022 is now live.

This year’s dates are June 6 & 9 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Field Day is June 11th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m..

Go to: www.oceanasheriff.net and navigate to "Recreational Education" on the left side of the screen. This will direct you to the DNR website.

There are two options. Students may take the classroom portion on-line and attend the “Hunter Education – Field Day”. Alternatively, students can take the “Hunter Education – Traditional Course”, which includes the classroom and field day. You only have to sign up for one option if your student plans to attend the traditional classroom.

About this Event:
This traditional hunter education class is in the classroom on June 6 & 9, and the Field Day is on June 11 at the neighboring range. No fee. Dress for the weather and activities for the field day(No shorts or open-toed shoes). Lunch will be provided on the field day. Students under 10 should be accompanied by an adult.
