Lake Manatee K-8 School The new Lake Manatee K-8 School is east of Uihlein Road, approximately a quarter of a mile south of S.R. 64.

We are open for select students (K-5) in August 2025, with 6th grade being added in August 2026!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost and the heroes who served our country and communities on September 11, 2001.

At Lake Manatee K-8, we are especially grateful for two of our very own Guardians who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting others. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping our students and community safe are deeply appreciated.

Our kindergarten scientists have been exploring the amazing world of magnification in STEM! 🧪👀
Students are discovering the tiny world of matter using a variety of scientific tools, including magnifying glasses, magnifying boxes, and microscopes. They’re observing, wondering, asking questions, and making BIG discoveries about things they can’t see with their own eyes! 🌎🔬
Who knew the tiniest details could lead to such BIG STEM learning? 💡🧠

🍧 WHAT TO EXPECT ON KONA DAY:
Kona Ice will arrive after 12:30 PM! Students who have prepaid will be on their teacher’s list and will head outside with their teacher and staff to visit the Kona Ice truck.

Once they grab their Kona, students will get to enjoy their treat outside on the grass before heading back to either class or recess, depending on their grade level. 🦦🍧💙

This group is for students who love to sing, collaborate with their peers, and who demonstrate a commitment to practicing and performing to the best of their ability.
