Why I’m Considering a Run for Congress
For me, this isn’t about politics — it’s about people. It’s about the place I’ve always called home. I was born and raised right here in our community — the same neighborhoods where I went to school, played ball, and built lifelong friendships. My roots here run deep, and every decision I’ve made — personally and professionally — has been guided by one question: How can I give back to the place that raised me?
For nearly two decades, I’ve worked in banking and finance, helping families and small businesses navigate the system, build stability, and achieve their dreams. I’ve also spent years in education and the non-profit world, serving communities that too often feel left behind and unheard. Whether helping someone save their home, mentoring a student, or leading community outreach, I’ve always believed in empowering people with opportunity and access.
Our community deserves representation that understands its struggles — someone who knows what it’s like to work hard, raise a family, and still fight for a fair shot. Washington doesn’t need more politicians who only show up for the cameras. It needs voices from real people who have lived what they’re fighting for.
I’m considering a run for Congress because I believe we can restore trust in public service — one neighbor, one conversation, and one act of hope at a time. This movement will be grassroots, fueled not by big money or special interests, but by the people who make our community what it is: strong, diverse, and full of heart.
It’s time we send one of our own to represent us — someone who has walked in our shoes and is ready to fight for a future we all believe in.
