Thank you to all of our fellow fighters. No hesitation, drop of a tone, we hit the pavement. Day in and day out, crash, fire, we cover it all. Thank you, and stay safe.

Thank you to everyone that made it out today! We greatly appreciate all of your continued support. Buddy and Santa sure had a good time.
Shout out to Boyne Mountain for donating an Avalanche Bay gift card, and the winner Kayann (Kevin Trasky)
We didn't get a chance to get too many pictures this year, so if you got some you'd like to share, please do so in the comments.
Again, thank you to you all, you keep reminding us why we do what we do to keep our community as safe as we can.
With much love and respect from all of us here at Boyne Valley Fire and Rescue to you and your families, we hope you have a FANTASTIC holiday season!

2 part post incoming:
Part 1: Here we have some training we were doing with our 2 newest members Randi Bowman and Patrick Scott Morin. Teaching techniques to extinguish vehicle fires, we did extrication about a month prior to this.
We tend to burn and cut up 4 to 6 vehicles for training each year. It provides good, quality hands on training to keep us up to date.
With that leads us to part 2:
We owe a lot of thanks to Chris Rauszer, Boyne Country Towing, and Henry Baumgartner. Each vehicle we train on, has been donated from Boyne Country or Henry. They have provided us with a lot of opportunity to get it done in training so we can be efficient when the call comes in. Chris not only brings us these cars, he stays and watches us, cleans up after, and beyond that he also helps us pick up and return all of the picnic tables EVERY breakfast we put together, volunteers his time at any event we may need help at, and never expects a single thing in return. So from all of us here at station 5200, thank you for all that you do to help support us.

We would like to take a moment and say thank you for your service and sacrifice to our nation to all of our past, present, and future military men and woman. Without your steadfast courage, we wouldn't be here to keep it safe back at home. From our service, to yours. Thank you veterans, and we hope you have a great Veteran's Day.
