Thanks to everyone who attended our annual car show and CONGRATS to the winners of our award categories! Big shout out to our Wood County Sheriff's Explorer Post: 8700 and other volunteers to help make this show possible!
The Sheriff’s Choice award went to the owner of this 1968 King Midget..made in Athens, Ohio.
We will see you all next year…the Saturday after Labor Day.

A HUGE thank you to Perrysburg Junior High School STEM students who designed our community car show awards for the second year! They turned out amazing and we can’t wait for the event!!

Becoming a fully-trained emergency dispatcher here can be a long and tough process for new hires. Some of our field training officers decided to revamp an idea that had been attempted before, but with a whole new plan on ex*****on to allow new hires to have a more focused, isolated beginning phase 1 of their journey to become ready to help the citizens of Wood County as a dispatcher.

We are so proud of the deputies who came up with a plan to put into action to be successful and happy for the new hire graduates of the classroom type training that they just completed over the last 6 weeks! Now they are training inside the communications center!

The annual Wood County Fair starts this SUNDAY! Sheriff Wasylyshyn's yearly tradition of offering FREE GOLF CART SHUTTLE RIDES continues! Call us if you need picked up at your car in the parking lots, or just need a ride around the fairgrounds to enjoy the food and fun! Thanks to Welch's Golf Carts and to all of our volunteers that help make this happen!
