In keeping with this season of Thanksgiving, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you...

Thank you for your generosity in giving of your time, creativity, and financial support throughout the year as the Friends raised funds to support the library. We truly couldn't do it without you.

Special thanks to Sue Fehlandt for doing such a beautiful job of chairing this year's Cookie Walk, to all the volunteers who worked the event, those who decorated cookies at our first annual baking day, those who donated festive and delicious homemade treats, and the long line of happy, wonderful, cookie-lovin' people who purchased ALL the goodies.

As winter moves in, and our annual fundraising events for 2025 draw to a close, we wish you and yours a happy and joyful holiday season with your loved ones.

Yours in FRIENDShip,
Lauren Vandenberg

Hey Friends! This blustery November day had me in the mood for starting some Christmas cookie baking for the Friends' annual Cookie Walk at the Acorn Lodge on November 28th

Cookies freeze well if you're in that mood too! Cookies can start being dropped off at the Library during regular business hours.

And if you love to bake and/or decorate, watch your email for more information on our first (and we hope annual) holiday Cookie Baking Day on November 15 at the Community Center kitchen. All cookies and candies made will be sold at the Cookie Walk. More info to come soon, but it's sure to be a fun and festive afternoon, and a feast for the nostrils (and maybe taste buds!!)

Yours in FRIENDShip,
Lauren

Greetings Friends,
Here are a few dates to add to your calendar...

The annual Cookie Walk fundraiser will be taking place at the Acorn Lodge from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, November 28. The cookie selling team is in need of volunteers, so if you have helped in the past and are interested, or would like to get involved this year, please contact Sue Fehlandt at 715-892-7714. We are good with set up volunteers, but still need at least six volunteers to assist with plating holiday cookies and candies for the sale.

A Holiday Cookie Baking day will take place at the community center on Saturday, November 15 beginning at 1:30pm in order to prep cookies for the Cookie Walk. Details and further information will be sent out soon for any interested cookie bakers and decorators who want to participate.

Additional donations of your favorite holiday cookies and candies will be appreciated!

Watch your email and this group page for further updates and details!

Thank you in advance for your assistance and support!

Yours in FRIENDship,
Lauren Vandenberg, president

THANK YOU POST (Warning: it's a long one, but I'm filled with gratitude)

What a wonderful evening of support for the Boulder Junction Public Library at A Taste of Boulder Junction tonight. Final totals aren't in yet, but the planning committee is pleased to hear the positive comments from guests on the new activities, the incredible music by Joni Clare Derdzinski , and the amazing variety and selection of food from both Vendors: Aqualand Ale House, Aqualand Bakery, The Boulder Beer Bar, Gooch's 2, The Ice Shanty and McGann's Pub and Wine Bar, and appetizer and/or beverage donations from Boulder Junction Coffee Co, Boulder Junction Trading Co, The Guides Inn, and Winkler's Greenhouse and Gifts, and members of the Friends.

Thank you to all who donated such fun and creative baskets, delicious wines and interesting beers, and gift certificates and mystery gifts.

Thank you to all the incredible volunteers who assisted with set up on Friday, and all who offered their time and talents, good energy, positivity, and joy, along with a heckuva lotta hard work to make tonight happen. It truly takes a village; here's ours:
