New Mexico authorities reopened a criminal probe into Zorro Ranch in 2026 and, in August, AG Raúl Torrez sued the DOJ and Acting AG Todd Blanche for “stonewalling” by withholding unredacted Epstein files needed for the investigation.

The remote ~7,500–10,000-acre high-desert property near Stanley, New Mexico, was owned by Jeffrey Epstein from 1993 until his 2019 death. He built a large mansion, airstrip, and other facilities there; survivors allege it was used for sexual abuse and trafficking of underage girls. Sold in 2023, it was renamed Rancho de San Rafael and is being redeveloped as a Christian retreat.

Reports from military families describe U.S. sailors and Marines on the USS Abraham Lincoln facing shortages of basic hygiene items such as toothpaste, soap, and deodorant amid an extended deployment in the Middle East. These shortages coincide with complaints about limited food options, moldy showers, broken laundry facilities, and strained morale after many months at sea with limited port calls. Such gaps in everyday supplies can quickly affect health, cleanliness, and overall readiness during prolonged operations far from established bases.

On April 2, 2025, Donald Trump announced sweeping new tariffs on imports from nearly every country, which he branded “Liberation Day.”

In February 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that these tariffs (imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act) were unlawful. The Court held that the president lacked the authority to impose them in that manner.

The problem is that importers paid the tariffs and passed those costs on to consumers. Yet the refunds, if issued, go to the importers—not the consumers who ultimately bore the higher prices.

Former GOP Judge and lifelong Republican Glen Whitley endorses James Talarico for United States Senate.

“As a Texan, I am ashamed that Ken Paxton is even on the ballot. I believe him to be the most corruption politician Texas has ever seen!”
