Anderson Valley Community Farm

Anderson Valley Community Farm Anderson Valley Community Farm (formerly Boont Berry Community Farm) is a small diversified CSA farm, which was founded in Boonville CA in 2011.

Anderson Valley Community Farm is a newly launched farm and community space on fifty acres of prime agricultural property, with a huge orchard, adjacent to downtown Boonville, CA. Boonville is a fairly remote small town in the Anderson Valley twenty eight miles from the Pacific Ocean and 2.5 hours north of San Francisco. Boonville has cafes, restaurants, a brewery and numerous wine tasting rooms,

all a 5-minute walk from the farm. Further down the valley there are swim spots on the river beneath the redwood trees.

I have about 20 beautiful, healthy, free ranging, organically supplemented, layer hens and a couple roosters for sale.
Americana (green layers) and Barred Rock (brown layers).
They range from 2-3 years old and are each laying tons of eggs!

For sale as a whole flock for a discounted price, otherwise trying to get $18 a bird; negotiable.

They've been raised completely free range on tons of space with lots of great forage foods abound & supplemented organic pellets. They have the deepest rich yolks!

Take some, take em all, make an offer.

Thanks!

It is fast approaching 8 years to the day since I moved into the farm and began this endeavor. While I can not say it has been a total failure of the goal to produce high quality local food for the local community, it has not proven profitable enough to sustain. It has been bumpy, wild, and maybe a bit out of control... but I truly don't regret the insane commitment that has been required.

I am going to sincerely miss this quirky community. I will almost certainly resume farming soon on the ranch I am moving to. Adios, it's been real, love ya, stay in touch, hope to see you Sunday.
