Hello Boundary County,

Many of you recently received a Republican Voter Guide in the mail. I’d like to briefly clarify a misunderstanding regarding my community service.

While living in other states, I was a homeschooling mom actively involved as a co-op planner and instructor, and I participated in 4-H, youth mentorship programs, and Girl Scouts. My children are now grown.

In 2020, we made the intentional decision to move to Boundary County because it reflects our conservative values and the kind of community we wanted to be part of. We are grateful to have most of our grandchildren here, and I’m proud to support and encourage my daughter as she continues the legacy of homeschooling.

I cherish the time I spend with my grandchildren. We enjoy hiking, camping, and snowshoeing together, and I consider it a privilege to help instill strong faith and conservative values in their lives. One of our favorite traditions is reading the Brave Books Freedom Island series each month.

One more thing, my seven years as a Search and Rescue Communications Lead was as a volunteer in another state. I was involved in Boundary County Search and Rescue for a time as an Associate Member.

I was honored to attend and speak briefly at the Bonners Ferry Lincoln Day Dinner this weekend!

What a pleasure to visit with candidate Jane Sauter who is running for Idaho District 1 Representative!

I also appreciated the opportunity to connect with Idaho leaders Representative Cornel Razor and Idaho State Senate candidate Scott Herndon. I’m grateful for their leadership and efforts to advance legislation that protects women in private spaces. House Bill 752 is on the governors desk.

Encouraged by the conversations and shared commitment to transparent, accountable government by so many fellow patriots who care deeply about the future of our state and preserving the values that make Idaho home.

I’m running for County Clerk because I care deeply about serving our community well.

This role carries important responsibilities—serving as Ex-Officio Auditor, Recorder, and Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners—and I am prepared to step into each with care and diligence.

Over the years, I’ve grown in bookkeeping, financial management, recordkeeping, and leadership support. These experiences have taught me the importance of accuracy, organization, and accountability—whether it’s stewarding public funds as Auditor, maintaining records as Recorder, or ensuring transparency as Clerk to the Commissioners.

In my current role, I support leadership behind the scenes by keeping records accurate, documenting decisions, and ensuring processes are followed with care—work that directly reflects the heart of this position.

More than anything, I value people. I believe the County Clerk’s office should be a place where citizens feel respected, supported, and confident things are being done right.

I’m not just running because I have the experience—I’m running because I genuinely want to serve, to be faithful with what’s been entrusted to me, and to support our community with integrity and care.

I truly believe the path that’s brought me here has prepared me for this step, and I’m committed to serving with humility, purpose, and a heart for others.

Why am I running for Boundary County Clerk?

I have decided to run for Boundary County Clerk as a step of faith and obedience, believing that God calls ordinary people to serve with integrity in places that matter. Over the years, He has equipped me with a strong foundation in administration, financial stewardship, and serving people well. I feel called to use those gifts to serve the citizens of Boundary County with transparency, accountability, and respect.
