Our first summer meal pickup was a great success! BK-8, Ponce de Leon Elementary, and Poplar Springs are the pickup sites, and yesterday over 520 students received a box containing breakfasts and lunches for the next 7 days. At BK-8 we had a larger response to the summer meals than we expected, and we are working to make adjustments accordingly. We appreciate your patience as we worked through the pickup yesterday, and we look forward to seeing you again next week. All children 18 and younger are eligible for meals, and children do not have to be present at pickup.

Buses will run on PAVED ROADS ONLY on Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29 due to potentially hazardous road conditions. This is for both the morning and afternoon routes. Friday is the last day of school and will be an early release day. Have a fun and safe summer!

We're happy to announce that free meals will be offered this summer! Summer Break Spot provides nutritious meals at no cost to children 18 and under while school is out for the summer. Three sites in Holmes County will offer weekly meal pickup: Bonifay K-8, Poplar Springs, and Ponce de Leon Elementary.
