Our Artist’s Reception was held last night on a beautiful summer evening to celebrate the raptors at the World Center for Birds of Prey, Boise ID. It was a privilege for AWI to partner with The Peregrine Fund and make this evening a reality. The sold-out event was a resounding success, and it was inspiring to witness the joy that the birds and artwork brought to all the guests. The evening was made possible by the tireless efforts of a group of volunteers and our fearless organizer, Cathy Conner Jordan.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the organizers, guests, and the incredible raptors on display.

The artwork will continue to be showcased at the Marcia and Bob Ross Gallery within the World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise, Idaho. This exhibition will run through October 2026. Giclee prints of the artwork are available for purchase at https://artwithimpactgallery.org. The proceeds from these sales will be dedicated to supporting The Peregrine Fund.

Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the power of art to make a lasting difference for birds of prey and the natural world.

As one of the only art retail organizations dedicated to directing art sale proceeds to conservation nonprofits, AWI Gallery connects artists, collectors, and nature enthusiasts in support of meaningful environmental impact.

The Peregrine Fund is the inaugural beneficiary of AWI Gallery. A selection of donated artwork will be featured in the Marcia and Bob Ross Gallery at the World Center for Birds of Prey from July through October 2026.

Browse the exhibition, connect with the artists, and purchase fine art prints to directly support The Peregrine Fund's mission to conserve birds of prey and the habitats they depend on.

Meet our Harpy Eagles

Harpy eagles, the largest raptors in Central and South America, are Panama’s national bird. They are also ranked among the largest eagles globally, alongside the Philippine eagle and the Steller sea eagle. These majestic creatures reside in lowland tropical forests, spanning from southern Mexico to northern Argentina. They make their home in the upper canopy of undisturbed forests. However, deforestation poses a significant threat to their survival, making them vulnerable.

Harpy eagles are renowned for their impressive rear talons, which can reach up to 5 inches in length. These talons are instrumental in their hunting prowess, allowing them to capture prey such as monkeys, sloths, large birds, and occasionally even baby deer. Their grip pressure is astonishingly high, reaching up to 500 pounds per square inch. To navigate the dense forest, they have adapted with a shorter wing span, measuring up to 6 1/2 feet.

Our Harpy eagle pieces are among several artworks now on display at the Marcia and Bob Ross Gallery within the World Center for Birds of Preyin Boise, Idaho. This exhibition will be held from July to October 2026.

Meet Our Artist: Danielle O’Callaghan

Danielle O’Callaghan, a lifelong artist who explores a diverse range of mediums, styles, and techniques in her work. Her art spans both traditional and digital forms, allowing her to blend classic techniques with modern tools. Danielle’s work includes sketching, painting, digital illustration, and mixed media projects. Currently, she is a full-time illustrator for several Arizona publications.
