Bloomington VFD had awesome training with surrounding county volunteers along with Victoria Fire Department. Big thanks to Victoria Fire Department for putting the training together and instructing it.

🚫🔥 Burn Ban in Effect for Victoria County 🔥🚫

Effective Immediately – March 2, 2026

Due to dry conditions and increased wildfire risk, Victoria County has issued a burn ban until further notice.

❌ What’s NOT allowed:
• Outdoor burning of brush, debris, or open campfires
• Use of fire pits, bonfires, or any open flame outdoors

✅ What IS allowed:
• Burning of household trash in a burn barrel with a secure metal screen or cover
(Must be attended at all times and kept away from flammable materials)

Bloomington Volunteer Fire Department will be having a barbecue November 2, 2024 @ the fire department
1/2 chicken German potatoes pinto beans with all the trimmings serving starts at 11:00 am $15 per plate will deliver 10 or more please come out support us
