I want every piece of drama a teen girl would give I wish we could have that period talk I wish I could say no to dating that boy you crushing I have so much that I wish I could have experienced with you. God knows better and I question every moment why you were taken from us. Today is the day God made me a girl mom. I have no plans wanna sleep and let it pass as it came. I stand in solidarity with EVERY Black artist EVERYWHERE! Ability and talent are gifts that should not be seen or used as limitations because of Race. Perhaps the real question for those who took it upon themselves to spout this abuse is... 'Why does it bother you so much?' To the artists in this production and any other: SOAR, RISE, INSPIRE. Lay the seeds for the next generation so this narrative of nonsensical HATE can stop! And to Francesca, you are FRIGGIN' BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Rica Jae has a birthday coming and today I’m so confused. Why do I celebrate her birth and remember her death. Rica is my reason for wanting to be a mom. I wanted a daughter and was blessed with a Princess. 4/16 just love your babies they deserve hugs love and attention. Gifts aren’t what they want it’s all of you for them.

I been silent lately but I wanna ask that this 1/26 y’all send pics please and cause five years later we still have no justice.

From DCFS making every excuse why not to release information to the agency not being available for deposition.

I just need peace knowing that the life you took from me is a life you feel any emotion about.

My daughter would be 13 and with internet tictok reels and all other social media seeing girls her age thrive I only imagine the life Princess Rica could have had.

The pain never got easy the hurt never went away it’s not easier to cope the days that go makes life so much harder because my baby should be here she should be living.

I die daily knowing I’m living and she isn’t. I hate it here and have no clue how to make peace with her being gone.

Thank you to all that still pray for us it’s been a struggle but I will not break bending for sure but JUSTICE IS MY FUEL to carry on.

It’s been a really long time since I’ve updated on the DCFS case regarding Rica.

The judge had to subpoena them to release records by 3/31 so they did finally after all these years.

Now once again we’re at a standstill because DCFS is stalling to provide dates for the deposition. I was told September/October now we’re hoping October/November…

It seems to me that in life or death this agency refuses to stand accountable for how they impact families.
