“It’s an honor to serve this hospital and our communities that rely on it,” Williams said. “Rural hospitals are essential to providing quality, compassionate care close to home, and I am proud to lead an organization made strong by the dedication of its caregivers and physicians.”

End of Watch: Deputy Holden Duckworth

It is with heavy hearts that the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office mourns the loss of one of our own, Deputy Holden Duckworth, who tragically passed away in an off-duty accident.

Deputy Duckworth was more than a dedicated law enforcement officer—he was a friend, a mentor, and a true servant to our county. His passion for protecting and serving others was evident in everything he did. Holden had a bright future in law enforcement, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
