We have not certified amounts for 2025 Pay 2026. The amounts and due dates are incorrect.

2024 pay 2025 Property Tax
Information:
Spring Payment due May 12th
November Payment due November 10th

Payment options;
Following banks accept Property Tax payments for Spring with current year COUPONS
Farmers and Mechanics: Bloomfield, Bloomington and Eastern Branches
First financial: Worthington Branch
Owen County State Bank: Linton Branch

Banks will accept payments 2 weeks prior to the due date until close of business on May 12th

Website and phone options end at 4 PM May 12th and will remain unavailable for 2 weeks after May 12th

Treasurer's office on the 1st floor of the courthouse
Drop box located at the entrance of the courthouse
Will accept payments until 4 PM on May 12th
Payments made after May 12th are considered late
Payments placed in the drop box after 4PM on May 12th will be considered late

2024 pay 2025 Property Taxes have been certified... Tax statements will be mailed out the first week in April.
Spring installment is due May 12th and
Fall installment is due November 10th.

Our office will be closing at 11:30 on December 20, 2024 for our annual Christmas gathering. We will reopen on Monday December 23rd regular business hours.

Pay options for Fall Property Taxes:

The following banks accept Property tax payments with COUPON and No Late payments: Owen County State Bank in Linton, First Financial Bank in Worthington, and Farmer and Mechanics in Bloomfield, Bloomington and Eastern until the close of November 12th

Pay at the courthouse in the Treasurer's office on the 1st floor until the close of November 12th

We also have a drop box located outside the entrance of the courthouse ( we check this box at 4PM on the due date, anything after 4PM this day will be considered late)
