REMEMBER: Tuesday is PRIMARY ELECTION DAY! 🇺🇸 If we say we love our public schools, we need to show up at EVERY election!
Locally, you will be electing your school board members. In some communities, you'll be voting on school bond measures. These elected officials and funding questions have HUGE impacts on the day-to-day operations, resources available to support our kids and help educators do their jobs, and the learning environments and working conditions in our schools. ✅THAT'S WHY WE VOTE!
In odd-numbered legislative districts (and a couple even-numbered ones, too), those Primary voters will decide which party's legislative candidates will move forward to November. Of particular interest are Districts 3, 7, 9, 13, 15, 23, 25, 27, 31, 33, 39, 42, and 43, which all have contested races. (Check out our most recent posts highlighting each district's candidates.) We need voters who care about public education to show up for incumbents and candidates who will show up for public schools! ✅THAT'S WHY WE VOTE!
And statewide, Primary voters will determine which 2 of 3 candidates for the Superintendent of Public Instruction -- Levi Bachmeier, Tracy Layne Foss, and Charles Tuttle -- will proceed to the General Election in November. Who we elect to serve our schools and champion public education from the office of the ND Department of Public Instruction matters! ✅THAT'S WHY WE VOTE!

Dozens of contested legislative races, the fate of two challengers dissatisfied with the Public Service Commission and a ballot measure will be determined by North Dakota’s primary on Tuesday.
